Depending on the harvest year, our carvacrol percentage ranges from 68 to 78%. This is the optimal amount. If carvacrol is over 84%, it becomes less ideal to take daily and can be overwhelming to the body.

• Newborns- 2 years: rub oil of oregano on the bottom of the feet at bedtime. Cover feet with socks (2-3 drops per foot)
• Ages 2-5: 1 drop of oregano oil in milk or juice (or can be mixed with honey on a spoon to help taste) once per day with a meal.
• Age 6-10: one to three drops in juice once per day, can be used for any number of days. You can also rub 3 drops on the bottom of the feet at bedtime.
• Age 10 and older: 2 drops of oregano oil in juice or under the tongue, up to 3 times a day, is acceptable.

It is best practice to abstain from the oil of oregano during this time. OregaMax (the dry herb) can be used as a substitute along with our Purely Nutrition line, only after the 1st trimester.
